Instrument Rating

The Instrument Rating will provide the skills and experience needed to safely operate within the air traffic control system. In addition, you will also be able to fly during times of less than great weather. Before you may have canceled or postponed trips due to weather and the instrument rating will allow you to fly through that weather to reach your destinate on time.

The Instrument Rating requires 50 hours of cross country flight experienc and 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument experience. At Leading Edge Aviation you will train in a modern Cessna 172SP. You have the option to train with traditional instrumentation with a Bendix/King panel or in a G1000 glass panel aircraft.
